GENERAL CATEGORY
1. An Alligator is like some women. They always have a swinging tale to tell.
2. An Alligator is like some men. They have a tale, but no swing
3. An Alligator is like some commercials. They can’t believe they ate the whole thing.
4. Alligators first came up with the expression, “Hook, line and sinker”. It is a term other Alligators use in derision. They were after the whole fisherman and failed.
5. An Alligator has to go back in the water from time to time. Too much time in the sun and it will fall in love with a log.
6. If you should see an Alligator falling in love with a log, run. It’s better to lose a log than a leg.
7. Let sleeping Alligators lie. They can tell the truth later.
8. Let lying Alligators lay. Let laying Alligators lie. Let the ignorant be ignorant still.
9. If you don’t know the difference between lay and lie, you don’t know Alligators. A lie can hurt twice as much as a lay. (Please, folks, this is a family venue. Lay means to leave it alone)
10. An Alligator is like a good movie: the end of the tale may hurt. Just a little.
